Thoughts on TikTok ban video

This was a while ago but it never fails to surprise me. There's this video where I assume some members of the U.S.A. government ask Tiktok's Ceo a bunch of stupid questions. At some point, someone says "I've never heard of a country called Signapore, is it in Western Europe?". I was wandering if these guys are actually part of one of the most influencial governments in the world and if yes, how can you ask such questions when you are in that positio?.

(Btw Im not American and my English might be a bit bad)

This video gets me every time. How are people in such powerful positions with a level of intelligence that low.

Look I don't even care if you don't know your countries, rivers or cities. But fuck a duck. Use Google and do your prep work before you look like a fool. They were so smug about it too acting big like they out smarted him. Was cringe.
