Is there any way to talk to my pen pal again?

Back when TikTok was up in the air I downloaded rednote. I was going to delete it, but someone DMd me and since then I’d been talking to them almost every day for a few months now. They started by asking if they could teach me Chinese and I said no, but we just kept talking and we shared lots of videos daily and I’d take photos of dogs at work for him. My coworkers knew about him too, and would pose for photos for my “Pen pal.”

I checked the other day and he was banned. He gave me his name but I searched it up and can’t find him. : (
