How are people falling for this?

If you’re this easily conned I suggest you get off the internet for your own security

Like the other commenter said, you need a break from the internet until you learn the basics of cyber security. It's a scary world out there. Ignorance is not an excuse because the guy on the other end is preying on your ignorance.

Report them, too. There are rules against asking for your personal information via DM.

Don’t send anyone the email you have linked to any account. I got hacked on instagram that way. Thought I was helping a friend. But they ended up changing the email in my account and I lost access to it for awhile. I did all the stuff tho and got it back. Took me a couple of months. I was so pissed off

Did anyone else read the acronym like ‘tism? I did, and wondered why they spelt it like that, then my brain went no this is what that means.
