HOW TO STOP THE SCREEN FROM DROPPING?

Why does the screen constantly drop when watching my "FOLLOWING" videos to show who is "LIVE"??? I do not care and do not want to keep seeing the screen drop with who is live!

Most obnoxious thing when I have to keep swiping back up to make the video fit the screen! Is there a setting option? Makes it unbearable and almost unusable!
