Possible profile view reset after reinstalling?

-uninstalled TikTok (with profile views and post history turned off) -later reinstalled it -went to a profile -went back to fyp -got a prompt about profile views being turned on!! With a green slider to the right for on

Did it count as on when I viewed this profile?? If so that’s so annoying. ALSO sometimes I double check my settings in between step 2 (installing) and 3 (going to a profile) and the prompt still comes up!
