Can we be original?

I’m always seeing people wanting to go back to fall of ‘22 or summer of ‘14 or ‘23. Why can we be original and do our own thing? Are we seriously half way thru the 2020 decade and already we’re running out of ideas?!

I understand that it’s the wave nostalgia that people are after, that’s totally fine, but I see people saying “ omm we bringing this back” For something that happened 3 years ago?!

but why can’t we make something that we with be nostalgic over later in idk 10 year maybe?

Also people saying that this summer was boring, did you consider making plans for the summer, cus I did and had a blast. And I see that some people online have been saying that they have stayed inside, ok that was your decision 🤷‍♀️.

Sorry for the rant but I’ve had this in my mind for sometime now and I hope at least one person gets it. For maybe my algorithm is messed up :(

P.s. the song of the summer is (IMO) anything from pinkpantheress fancy that. With illegal being the most popular I’ve seen on tiktok.
