Short looping videos - all details in description box.

This seems to be a growing trend lately on my FYP. Someone standing there sipping coffee like hey I have a recipe for this or heres some shit you shouldn't do if you want to do this. And you sit and wait for the rest if the video and it loops back after 10 seconds and you have tap more to read the long ass post in the description box. If I wanted to read I'd come here, I want to watch that's why I go there. What is the point of this? There has to be something in it for them monetarily.
