What do you say of being a content creator rn for a living?

You can do it on the side, not full time. There are too many random things affect it and no one can guarantee success.

Nah bro, it's gonna be tough and I'm not gonna lie. Just think about how many people are on tiktok and how many people really nail it? BUT I'm not killing your drive. Try it and don't put much expectations on it.

The app is not the income channel - being a content creator and an entertainer is the income channel. You just post it on every single one you can, and do it consistently - daily uploads, treat it as a part time job, minimum 20 hours a week making content and posting and people will start paying you.

I’m a full time content creator and make 3x more than I did before I started. I work for myself and get to be creative. I have schedule flexibility and don’t have to answer to anyone. I’m also well aware it could end at anytime. That’s part of the job risk. But I can go back to my old career anytime. I will ride the wave until I can’t anymore. I always tell people to go for it part time and see how it goes. Don’t walk away from a steady career until you get a real world take on what it’s like. It takes a lot of dedication. I NEVER stop!

You are not the only one, I have seen many people think about things like this, and my answer is always, even if you try you may not succeed, but if you don’t try, you will never succeed. So pick up one editor and start your business, good luck!

If you’re in Australia or New Zealand, forget about the Creator Fund — it doesn’t exist here. That means TikTok won’t pay you directly, so you have to figure out the algorithm yourself and hustle hard to make money through sponsorships or other side gigs.

Don’t waste money on any “courses” claiming they’ll teach you how to blow up — they’re scams. There’s no secret formula or shortcut.

Having followers doesn’t mean cash. Most people never make decent money, let alone a full-time living. It takes years of grinding, constant content, and a lot of luck. If you want easy or fast money, move on.

This career is brutal and unreliable. If you’re not ready to put in that work and face the harsh reality, don’t bother.
