I dont want tiktoc in my phone contacts

I keep getting suggestions of "people you may know", so Im assuming they are suggesting me to them too. I mainly dont want tiktok suggesting me to them either or in my phone contact list. I have it off in the app and its disturbing that it still has to be accessing my phone contacts. I have ex bosses, ex friend, people i dont know but had some contact with that caused me to save them because I may need to call them ex: someone I sold something on marketplace to. This is very disturbing when I have it turned off that tiktok doesnt have permission to access my phone contact list. I know that Im not in many of these people's contact list several for sure because they never had my number.
