If you don't have a card connected then it will all add to your apple id so that means you now owe apple money. I've had the same problem and I thought I got lucky

Even in other application, Apple is like that. You owe them to apple and soon you need to pay it as well.

Apple allows me to do this and i always pay it back when i can. What others have said, no you wont be able to download apps, or purchase anything else until you pay. But if you keep a good standing the amount goes it.

Apple will wait until you hit a certain threshold and then put the charges through to your card. I think for me in the past it has been around $30 or so. If I make a $2.99 purchase it won’t go through until hit $25 or $30 I think.

As soon as you connect a card to your phone all of those purchases will charge your card id recommend to open a new apple id but same tt account
