Does TikTok not care about animal suffering?

TikTok just doesn't care anymore. things will only change if they receive backlash

Apparently, Tiktok and YouTube only have a full conniption and take action if you dare say “suicide, breasts, kill, pedophile” etc. Actual animal abuse, even if on a kid’s channel, is all good.

People watch it, ads pay out, tiktok profits. I promise you they do not care. That’s why people were so upset that TikTok was recommending new/ young users self harm and bulema influencers. They don’t care. They care if you watch and how long you scroll, whatever the biological cost is

Since a lot of people are saying Tiktok doesn't care does anyone know if there's been a petition to change all this? I know a lot of people start petitions for the weirdest things and this is kind of important so you'd think there's one. If there is let me know lol

That's what happens when people want the Internet to be inclusive it has to respect everyone's cultures (these videos are mostly Japanese and Korean folks eating sea food) so really taking issue with it is potentially more problematic because you're imposing your own cultural ideals on a whole ass different group of people.

No, I left TikTok after seeing animal abuse and suffering so graphic it traumatized me. I had never searched for that kind of thing or clicked on it, the algorithm went south after Trump's inauguration.
