While I agree it's horrible, I'm just gonna say my neighbor's pets ate parts of him after he unexpectedly died. Over the course of 3 days, they gnawed on him until there was a welfare check done. Animals are animals.

That is something you might do to prank your sibling, not an animal who trusts you completely. You are breaking that trust for internet likes and damaging your cat emotionally. They are not toys, not test subjects, not props for content. They are living beings with thoughts, emotions, memories, and deep loyalty. Cats love harder than most people realize and will protect you with everything they have. If you think it's okay to betray that love just for a few seconds of viral attention, you should not have a cat. You should be ashamed of yourself. And TikTok needs to take responsibility for continuing to allow cruelty like this to spread. Report every video like this you see. This isn’t funny. This is emotional abuse masked as a trend.
