TikTok streak pet age: Is it based on streak days or growth points?

Hi! I just started a TikTok streak and already have the streak pet. A friend told me the pet's age equals the number of streak days — for example, if I have a 10-day streak, then the pet is 10 years old. Kind of like dog years being different from human years. But in my opinion, the pet’s age should be based on its growth points instead. What do you all think?

I know it's a silly question — more for fun and roleplay than something serious — but I was wondering: Is there any kind of official or fan-made calendar for the streak pet?
