Is there a way to turn off the amber alerts feature on tiktok?

can't find anywhere in settings to turn them off and tiktok doesn't even use location services in my iphone settings. just started seeing them for the first time within the last week, tried looking it up but there's not many posts on it since it's a newer feature.

has anyone figured out how to turn this off yet??
