YSK: Reddit is planning to limit the amount of subreddits a mod can mod. Effectively ending power mods.

Interestingly enough this story has *not* spread to the rest of reddit. We think these changes are extremely positive and exactly what reddit needs. We wanted to inform you all, the reddit community, so that you can provide feedback and be involved in the discussion as well.

Right now mods can mod an unlimited amount of subreddits which has resulting in a tiny number of moderators controlling a large portion of the website. With this change this will open up a lot of subreddit teams to new blood letting people that haven't been here for decades break in. As this is a fundamental change to reddit we wanted to make sure this went out to as many people as would see it, and not just those who follow the modnews subreddit.
