Fuck him. He's not worth the effort, just like his dad said.

"Do you mind arguing" yes i do. I would rather debate or discuss. This guy was already going to be exhausting.

Men like this don't care about women's opinions and don't respect their intelligence or education.

They just want to talk to a woman and waste her time to goon and feed their ego.

Some context I didn't know if I should add or not- only reason (I think) he messaged me was because a bigger girl posted a vent about her weight and some other pos commented a picture of a crying obese rage meme or whatever its called with food around it and "these genetics suck!" Written above its head. To that comment I replied saying "you do know that genetics play a huge part in weight loss/gain, right?" And explained the correlation between genetics amd how certain genetic conditions make weight loss impossible- Cushings, haahimotos/chronic autoimmune thyroditis, PCOS, etc etc.

Lose weight OP. Nobody takes fat doctors seriously. Someone who cant take care of themselves cant take care of others

Calling someone a foid in 2025 is corny

If someone unironically says "foid", they're a subhuman and not worth anyone's time. Let this creature screech into the void.

"determine" is a strong word, "affect" would be more accurate

Genetics play an important role (e. g. affecting your appetite, your basal metabolic rate, etc.) but at the end of the day it's physics and you can only gain weight by eating more than your body requires.

I guess one could argue it's determined in the sense of the philosophical concept of determinism. In that case, yes, you're a fatass because of the initial state of the universe at the big bang and the laws of physics.

If you do believe you gain weight despite having a caloric deficit, then please head to the next physics faculty because we could really use some biochemical engine with over 100% efficiency (hint: it's not possible).

The danger with the whole "your genetics determines your fatness" argument is that it will lead people to complacency, because "it's all in my genes!!" and then they might stuff their face even more. The same thing happens to men who refuse to workout because they "don't have the right genes" to look like the fucking Hulk lol.
