Can’t see friends repost on fyp?

So I’ve had tiktok since maybe 2021-2022. i’m not too sure when repost become a thing but ever since then none of my friend’s repost show up on my fyp, like ever. i thought maybe if i just kept updating tiktok overtime i would be able to see them but i still can’t 😭.

the only way i can see my friend’s repost is if i go on their page and actually look at their repost. other than that it never shows up on my fyp. is there like a setting to turn this feature on or something? i’ve been tryna figure this out for years but i still can’t find an answer
