Repost feed

I was looking at my friends repost and told my friend beside me to look at one of the other persons repost. When they pulled it up they could see all the reposts but the last one that was posted 4 hours ago. Anyone here explain this? I don’t see where you can block just one person from reposts, you would have to turn reposts off for everyone or block that person from viewing your whole account.
