Tik Tok treats the "not interested" button as the "show this person more of this content" button

deleted the app after I said not interested to the same fucking topic for 2 days straight. This app is terrible. I don't understand how showing you the same frustrating content to keep you on the app longer is at all profitable when the user will just delete the app after they've had enough.

If any of you are experiencing something similar, just delete the app. It's not going to improve. I'll miss my favorite creators but I'm not dealing with their scummy business practices any longer. From blocking accounts, to tags, nothing works. It just shows you videos with 0 likes and 0 comments about the stuff you say you're not interested in. At this point I believe the algorithm is worse than youtube's search, which I thought was impossible.

Worst fucking app I've ever had the displeasure of using.
