There’s a really good video on YouTube, that explains why we do not have nuclear power plants in abundance in the states, and the (Tl;Dw)if you know anything about America. Far more have died from coal mining (cave ins, black lung) than any nuclear disaster

Refining petroleum (oil) has more fatal workplace accidents than any nuclear disaster

The oil and coal lobbies have bought out the media to make nuclear power seem more unsafe than their industries.
