Has anyone had any genuine success with promote?

Quick query, I know people shit on promote a lot and I have used it in my early days with little success (in hindsight my video was pretty shit anyway) but it never stopped me growing.

I have a couple of videos that kinda died early when I was expecting them to perform way better- they're vids in a theme l've used successfully before on tiktok and they took off on Instagram (ie, 2M views on insta but 50k on tt)

Has anyone used promote to try and boost these videos up that seem to have prematurely died off?
