for you page feed inconsistent

Recently, my fyp has just not been what I want. I want mostly sports content, with like a little bit of funny tiktoks. Ive used the content preferences slider, everything down except for sports which was at the max and humor which was in the middle. Ive tried all sorts of combinations but my fyp is just never what im interested in, and when I do get stuff related to what I want, its posts with like under 30 likes. I dont see almost any posts with more than 20k likes unless its a post with 1m+ likes, and even thats rare.

So should I just reset my fyp? I dont really see any other options but I wanted to see if for any reason its advised to not reset my fyp
