Problem with comment notifications

Idk if this happens to anyone else but I've been having an issue with my comment notifications on the app. For example I'd see at the top of my screen someone replied to a comment of mine but then I'd go to my inbox, then activity and it wouldn't be there even if i get the little red dot showing i got the reply, and when i filter the activity for just comments nothing shows up. This is only a problem I have with comments and replies, every other type of notification constantly shows up without an issue but whenever it's a reply it doesn't show up. It doesn't happen with every one just about half of them so I don't end up getting most replies.

I even checked my settings and there shouldn't be anything there that stops comments coming through.

Idk if this is just how the app is or if it's just mine bugging out but is there any way to fix it at all or do I just have to deal with it?
