Unable to make likes public + TikTok liking videos that I’ve never viewed on its own?

Has anyone else been dealing with this? Around 2 weeks ago my ability to have my likes “public” was taken away from me, and since that same point in time I’ve noticed videos in my likes that I’ve never even seen. I suspect my account is now being used by TikTok somehow someway to boost algorithms?
