Direct Messages

I created a new TikTok account (over 18), but I don’t have the Direct Message option at all. When I try to share a TikTok, I can’t select anyone. On someone’s profile, there’s no “Message” button. From my other account, if I try to message this new one, it says “You can’t message this person.” In Settings → Privacy, the Direct Messages option doesn’t appear anywhere. I don’t know what to do.
