How are these types of scams even allowed on TikTok, and how do people fall for them? It’s clearly fake — they have to open another app just to donate! Plus, isn’t gifting through lives or comments the only real way to send gifts?

IDK what changed with the reporting within the last few months (specifically it seemed, after Trump took office)

But I used to be able to report these and take them down within 10 min. Usually there was only a few streaming at any given time so I could come in after work and snipe them all in one 5 min scroll.

Now they never, EVER get taken down. Same thing with just straight fraud scams and other crypto scam videos.

I got this ad the other day. At the time there was a link to WhatsApp. I played along for a bit with a throwaway, they asked me to like a video for £8, then told me to contact someone on Telegram to get the payment. There was some promise of being able to make £500 a day.
