Today I’m fucked up yall 😭

(22M) (24F) okay so quick story time . My boyfriend and I made plans to go out this weekend like a week in advance. The day before I double checked to make sure he was still coming he said yes so cool I’m hyped . The day came … and he didn’t text me all day . No good morning nothing then Sunday came and it’s still radio silence so I woke up Sunday morning and text him … fast forward to today he messages me on iMessage and insta I haven’t opened it yet because I’m mad ash but here’s the chaotic part so apparently he claims he lost or broke his phone entirely or some like he said something happened to it over the weekend but he wants me to text him only on insta cause he’s using his iPad rn but if that’s true why I gotta text you on insta if you texted me just now on iMessage like im trying to figure out if he has a side piece or this iPad excuse is just excuses ..am I overreacting for thinking this is shady ?
