Is being an Influencer based on Luck or Strategy? Or just being pretty enough?

Influencers who made it will say it’s luck like moist critical on YouTube whether being humble or genuinely thinking like that, but in reality, it takes consistency in that you need a consistent persona that’s consistently engaging to learn about with consistent content that are all consistently engaging throughout all your videos. This is usually supplemented eventually by collaborating with other influencers to stay in touch plus have the opportunity to increase your audience and doing content creation full time. One route people do to increase their time is streaming on Twitch.

If you have that and do that, you’re set. But it’s extremely rare to have and do, and it’s risky.

You can make a few viral videos—a lot of random people have done that if you check their profile. A video of theirs got 400k likes, maybe 1m likes. But that was 2 years ago and afterwards they weren’t consistent in continuing to post, so any new video they post is just 4000 views.

The ones making the most money got to it first and put out crap left and right looking for that one thing that sticks very rarely will you figure out exactly what it is that you’re gonna do as an influencer right off of the bat if that’s truly what you’re trying to do, you should be putting out 5 to 10 videos a day
