how to get rid of “on this day”

how do u stop it from showing at all?? i know it doesnt post it but i dont even want to see the different pop ups all day. if i turn off access to photos i dont think itll work since its stuff i posted a year ago and not stuff from my photos. im not just being picky btw theres a reason i really dont wanna see stuff i posted a year ago
