What’s the safest way to shop on TikTok Shop?

I know this might sound a little silly to ask, and I’ve seen plenty of posts about it already, but I’ve been thinking about buying a few things from the TikTok Shop since the prices are so much cheaper than other places. I’ve read that it’s generally “safe,” but it really depends on the seller — which I understand. Still, I’ve also seen posts where people said their card info was stolen, so I wanted to ask what the safest way to shop on there is. Some people recommend using Apple Pay or PayPal instead of entering your card directly — is that really the best option?
