I'm worried for next league...

I keep seeing all these posts where people can't believe how many divines and mirrors they were able to get.

I think people are going to be in for a reality check next league. The economy is so out of whack right now and people's dopamine receptors are fried.

Don't get me wrong, this league is a blast, but no one should expect this going forward or you're in for major disappointment.

EDIT: I agree with a lot of you that this league's economy was a great time and really fun. My point is more of a psychological one than anything. We're all ARPG players so we have the same "number go up, brain happy" dopamine rush. Even though less divs will bring down prices of everything essentially making the same economy, I think it'll still feel bad to a lot of players getting less drops. And I really don't see any world in which the loot from temple doesn't get nerfed.

It’s largely irrelevant as currency is relative.

In a league where currency drops are reduced by 90% compared to this one, market prices will (for the most part) reflect that.

Some leagues rain loot some don't. Poe1 has cyclyed like that for years, people still keep going back. It's part of the fun of resetting the economy. Whats gonna happen this time?

Maybe when a divine drops next league it will actually mean something. That sounds like fun to me.

It all seems to balance out anyway, the economy this league was definitely out of whack but those who think “I need to make 1000 divs to be happy” need to realize that in a league where people aren’t printing them with temple 10 divs are worth the same as 1000. You can build your god build with a much “lower” budget.

Does it really matter since the divine printing inflated the prices as well.

As a non poe1 player, why can’t all league be like this? It seems to me that casual people were able to play a decent build and have fun, serious people were able to bring their build to the maximum. Why is this not the standard for every league?

It's depressing the game is only about the dopamine rush for many players when there's so much many good things about the game. I sometimes wonder if GGG are wasting their time and money on voice acting, graphics and animation, when so many just want a sound produced by a loot filter.

Having just finished the campaign and putting together a build I feel like I am SOL because I’ve only seen one divine drop from a boss in a T9 map is the temple printing or what?

Yeah people are printing divines, but everything else got expensive.

If u have a economy with one cow and $10 the cow is worth $10. When you put extra $90 the cow is worth $100.

I think the temple has a opposite effect, more people are farming the temple compared to other stuff, so the other stuff gets way more expensive.

A solo finished temple prints what 50 divines? A stupid chaos trials give u 15 divines. One cleansed map with fracturing orb boss gives u 60 divines

Same thing happened in poe1, but rather than most people realizing it was basically withdrawals they just said ground loot was shit and GGG bad for the rest of the league

My dopamine receptors need to take at least one league off after this. Cooked past well done.
