Can some tell me what the hell is up with this game and the constant lag spikes and freezes?

Hey guys,

leveling a secondary character (not happy with my first one currently) and more on more I am getting either lag-spikes or a full on freeze (character stands around, I can't move or cast and if enemies are near I die or if I survive the character behaves like a fucking cat with the zoomies for a second or two and then frozen again! It's not a game freeze, as I can open menus (like go into the options))...what is that?

I've already restarted the game, the router, the pc, have verified game files...so what is this?

I mean if I played hardcore (which I don't do, as I want to enjoy this and the constant threat of losing a character? That's not my idea of a great time!) I'd have lost several characters by now because of this shit.

Is this server-side? I mean what other things can I do? Doubt restarting everything (again) will do anything!

It is either server side, or something between your PC and the server.

When I have lag issues, I usually open up two or three terminals and run a constant ping to my router, google, and if possible, the server I'm connecting to. That way I can see if it is a network issue and where it is happening.

I've had the same problems this season and GGG said, that temple farmers take a big toll on the servers. So I believe this might still be the case, since the rubberbanding / freezes are pretty sporadic

Second this. Stopped playing for good today. Frankfurt (EU), Sunday. Best daytime. It's so much fun to die to lag when trying to kill the corrupted boss of a map only then to come back to a perfectly finde running map. Without the corruption boss, of course. Because not killed due to dying to lag.

It's the same shit show since months. They just don't fucking care. I pumped I don't know how many euros in this fucking game and the just don't care.

It's a weird thing and it's inconsistent most of the time, usually happens to me at least once or twice a day, it can last from 30 minutes to an hour and when that spikes begin I just take a break because I remember losing a bunch of maps because of it.

Can some tell me what the hell is up with this game and the constant lag spikes and freezes?
