The omen that says reroll chaos for suffix only, use perfect chaos orb, roll until t1 or t2 crit hit chance then desecrate for cast speed.

If you want t1 crit chance from descecration it will be unbelievably expensive. You can check out craft of Exile for the chances. All in all ancient will be less expensive because you'll need a Ton of omen of lights both ways

1.You can fish for cast speed/mana regeneration with desecretion by using combo of perfect essence of alarcity + essence of abyss + omen of chrys suffix + normal jawbone ( no need ancient ).

2. Slam ex for last suffix and whittle till t1 crit

3. If you have mana regeneration in step 1, omen of light then keep desecrete + omen of light till cast speed t1. If you got cast speed in step 1, your staff is done.

You can play around with that a little

Isnt it better to spam whittle now until T1 cast speed then desecrate for crit? Cuz if you land crit you wont be able to hit cast speed unless you can wish for a billion dollars and it happens now.
