Basics of CoC Comet

They’re all viable it just depends on preference. I prefer the CoC and CoEA infinite loop variant with spark but some people like elemental weakness with CoC. Hell some people like CoC Arc over Comet. I would just go to PoE ninja and look around at some builds

1mirror will get you started, but the BiS gear is expensive as fuck! A good rathpit will run you about 2.5-3k divs, a good splendor will run about 1 mirror. A good vertex will be about 1k-1.5k divs. Just price out EVERYTHING before you start buying. You don’t need 2 or 3 sockets on all your gear to start playing CoC and will save a ton by just sticking to 1 socket gear starting out.

I personally tried CoC and CoEA and hated it. Didn’t get many triggers even at 100% crit chance. Switched to Lee weakness and immediately liked it. More comets, the spell hits a lot hole screen all at once and triggers all the comets at the same time, very fast because you don’t need to fire a spark and wait for it to reach the enemy before triggering a comet. Ele weakness detonates in about 0.2 seconds and feels much faster and safer. Ele weakness also helps the comets deal more damage due to elemental penetration or resistance debuffs on enemies. I have spark in my other attack just because sometimes I find Ele weakness doesn’t work on like 1 rare mob for some reason so I have a backup that gets the job done.
