Essence Rework - Allow Rares to drop low tier essences.
Essences feel like a great way to introduce players to basic crafting and modifiers, they also give players a guaranteed deterministic affix.....The problem is you don't earn them often enough through the Campaign to experiment with them.
Why not give Rare monsters a relatively high chance to drop them, so that during the Campaign the system is actually used?
I would of course limit high tier essences to "Essence Monsters" that we have currently, which will balance their drops around Quantity vs Quality....Obviously they can't always drop the rarer essences.
An Essence monster is essentially just an encased rare. This feels like a logical albeit simple change that only has upsides for players interacting with a system that seems 'outdated' and pretty pointless in the game besides SSF. Even then it feels useless until Endgame.
I feel this is a better solution than just adding more essence monsters to the Campaign.
