Wand dropped like this, am I correct in thinking this is good?

Try and see if you can desecrate spell damage on it.

Though cast speed would have been a much better suffix in place of int.

Crafting steps were;

Step 1: Pick up wand off of ground

Step 2: Use ID scroll and say hmm I think this looks good?

Step 3: Post to reddit and see if I can do anything else crafting wise to make this better/useable?

Quite good. Things holding it back: Spellslinger (level 18 vs 20), int as a suffix. The spellslinger thing is minor. The int is more problematic. If that was crit multi or cast speed... hoo boy.

Still, all in all a very good wand. Get a good desecration on it (depending on build, using an Omen of the Liege to get an Amanamu mod can be very good) and you've got 5 awesome affixes on your hands.

The int is shit, but the rest are great.

i’m not super experience like some other but i might perfect exalt and hope i hit something good then desecrate and hope i either rip off the int or the new modifier i put on it. alternatively just desecrate it and pray you get big spell damage

Alright so trying to get a better understanding of desecrating, from what I can see I would need a jawbone to desecrate the wand, ancient jawbone would give the highest potential roll of the modifier but it seems to be really expensive, I can't use gnawed since it has a max ilvl of 64, so it seems I'd want to use a preserved jawbone and utilize omen of the liege to hit an anamanu modifier to try and hit a good spell damage roll? If it hits a low roll then I can use an omen of light/annul orb to remove the desecrated modifier and try again, rinse and repeat until I hit the desired mod/roll?

Generic +level of spells would be better. Definitely good to craft onto cast speed over int and you still have room for a prefix. This is already a pretty high value item. Maybe just list it and let the buyer decide how they want to finish it

If you can somehow get lucky enough to remove int with an annul then desecrate and hope for cast speed OR spell damage, you can sell it for quite a lot of divs and it will have an open suffix for anyone who wants to try their luck on it.
