Monster corpses cause a massive CPU bottleneck resulting in a 70% FPS drop, 9800X3D + RTX 5080 showcase (Vulkan).

The red CPU bar on the top right shoots up as soon as the corpses appear. FPS goes from 119 down to as low as 36, but my GPU utilization actually goes down (during the lag my GPU TGP drops from 330W to 190W). Also when you portal back into an area where there's a large amount of corpses on screen, the corpses appear to "move" for a second as if they're doing some kind of physics animation or something, and during this moment there is also extreme FPS lag.

This post popped up in my notifications, and I genuinely thought it was from the escape from tarkov sub. Since you know, that's literally their problem and 40% of the posts on the sub

that's what u get for playing minions. look as i don't play minions what i can tell the difference is that i don't have the option to highlight dead bodies like its showing on yours. maybe you have some kind of skill that does something with the dead body.

Been like that forever. Mobs are still rendered as if they were alive.

"This is fine"

Thing is, is it the corpses, or the items that are filtered out by your loot filter?

Is Vulcan better for you? It makes my game almost unplayable. I think they fixed the problems with dx12. Vulcan got way worse after 0.2 for me

Thats because they are all still mobs effectivelly, its like walking through a screen wide pack of idle mobs.
