Is it too late to start in the current league considering it has been about two months since release?

Well its ending in two months so a great time to learn and start the new league with some knowledge, my two cents

Definitely not too late. And if you can handle 1, you should have no trouble getting acclimated to 2. It's still vague in that classic GGG sort of way, but it's way more approachable and intuitive than 1, IMO.

Don't let the people screaming "dead league" dissuade you. It's still a blast. Go for it 🙂

EDIT: Also worth noting that leagues are 4 months long now, so it's not like 0.5 is knocking on our doors.

Don't grind for anything, just try out the different characters and skill combos the game has, check out the story and dialogue.

Then next league just go nuts.

Play ssf and it's no longer a race of any sorts. You'll also be inclined to play all content and learn to craft as you go. Have fun

Unless you’re interested in joining the next PoE 1 league (3.28) that should start on early March (If you are unsure they should do the content reveal next week), you still have plenty of time since 0.5 only hits early April, my recommendation tough is to play SSF if you are too worried about economy state, if not go Standard.

Its actually a good time to start. Only perfect Gear is expensive, the rest is very Cheap. You can Gear Up very easy and Test arround

Yes do it a spell casters dream if you know how to craft. Minion builds are fairly strong gear is cheap. Late game you can easily farm currency with just breach

I started as an almost noob like you and chose Standard League so i can take my time and learn things - it’s cool.
Looking forward to the next league now but still enjoying endgame with my ‚main‘ character

I like late league feeling. People are generous and helpful, there are plenty of items on the market and stuff.

Maybe just use the opportunity to explore the game and don't get overinvested in building a perfect temple?

Bro go for it, you can get okay gear which would let you clear all content (apart from super juiced temple) for pennies.

Don't be scared of "late league", game is tons of fun regardless!

I'm a new player, first got it in December (never played poe1 or any arpgs really) and I am at almost 400 hours already, it's nuts!
