Crafting steps:

1. Buy exceptional ilvl.81 reaping staff, so that it only rolls Phys spell level (buy gelid staff for the same with cold)
2. Perfect transmute into annul + perf aug spam until either +7 phys spells, T1 spell damage or T1 phys spell damage
3. Aug til 2 mods, essence cast speed or crit then desecrate prefix (do not reveal)
4. If spell/phys % then div spam until good roll. Fracture, if hit any of the mods in step 2 then go to step 5. If not, yolo spam perf exalt and reveal or just go back to step 1.
5. Annul down to fractured mod + 1 mod, then chaos or greater chaos spam for +7 phys & T1 spell/phys spell
6. Reveal prefix and look for mana to block (will omen of light to remove later)
7. Perf exalt 3rd prefix
8. Omen of light to remove mana
9. Perf exalt for 2nd suffix
10. Omen of whittle + perf chaos spam for T1 cast speed/T1 crit
11. desecrate for last suffix for what you didn't hit in step 10
12. Omen of light spam until T1

*edit not rich enough yet, but the next step would be to hinekora + sanctify for +8 phys spells

My build is home-brewed, a power-charge based spell totem + bonestorm build with some plants on the side (disciple of varashta, but i think other ascendencies could also work)

Got bored of Doedre's CoC comet and came up with this, the AoE isn't as good but damage is just as good.
