How do you imagine the temple to work like next league in 0.5?

It can be assumed that the temple won't go core without some changes. At least I would be surprised to see them add it as is, considering how profitable it is compared to any other league mechanic.

How do you think will it work then in 0.5?

- Like PoE1 Harvest where you get presented a random pre-set temple each time?

- Restricted medallion locks, making it much more difficult / impossible to actually build permanent temples?

- Hard cap on multipliers? (this way they could allow you to build the temple freely however you want without becoming broken loot-wise, since reaching the cap and adding more rooms then just means a larger area) ​

Personally, I like the progression of building something over the course of a league that permanently becomes visibly bigger and better. So just pure randomness and no way to deterministically prevent decay would remove the fun part of that mechanic gameplay itself, even ignoring the loot itself. A hard cap/ceiling (i.e. a change that only affects the loot and not the mechanic itself) ​would be the least destructive implementation for me.

The biggest issue at the moment is that its under whelming early and overpowered later. If they can make it more rewarding early on and tone down the rewards for a giga temple I would be happy.

I would much prefer a slightly smaller temple that is hard reset much more often.

I'd like to see it get some QoL improvements, like show me all connections I'm going to make when placing a room down and just give a little more info. Obviously it'll be nerfed in some way, but hopefully it will still be worth doing if you invest the time.

I think they either change the mechanic entirely from the ground up or leave it exactly the same as it is now. A tablet causes the crystals to spawn in map. That's about it.

Never was able to build my temple. I hope they get rid of destabilisation full stop. It doesn’t stop people that are willing to grind 12h a day but is a deterrent for new players / casuals.

The only thing we know for sure is that loot it provides will be nerfed to the ground.

I'm also not too sure about the insane HP scaling as it significantly narrows the amount of builds you can play. If temple is still rewarding, I'm only going to be making builds that can clear it.

Lower reward ceiling I guess. And them not being on every single map is also gonna help a bit to balance it. But also depends on the Vaal temple tablets if they add them

Depends , juiced map is kinda harder that a mid temple (35 room+) but the reward is lacking.

Unless they add higher tier map , it need to be nerfed , by a lot.

While it's fun to be able to craft and all , its hell for the average player who doesn't play 10 hours a day and know everything about the game.

Catching up is near impossible and by the time you do catch up , price have doubled.

It print way too much.

While I like temple , I hate it at the same time , it make everything else feel meaningless.
