Need help with temple can’t see medallions

Anyone know what’s going on with why I can’t see my medallion when it drops? It’s been 4 maps in a row that I can’t see my medallion. I’m getting frustrated because all the progress I made yesterday went down the drain because I can’t lock my temple. And yes I pressed Z
