Working on a Quarterstaff Craft, but I'm stumped

I am trying to do better than the QS on the left. I've been trying to craft up the one on the right, and right now I only have the currency you see to do so.

Can anyone give me some advice on where to go with the right quarterstaff? I HAVE to believe it should be possible to outperform the one on the left, given the higher base increased phys, but I don't know if I have enough currency to get there. Do I just burn it down to a single affix and start over?

its really gonna depend on the suffix.

if you had the currency i would lock and check perf / greater ex, if both are undesirable / cant be whittled then you can check vaal infuser for more quality.

other than that it seems like a slam and pray angle i definitely wouldnt annul to one mod

could also omen of light the prefix and desecrate a suffix but its more or less the same situation after that point

It’s going to be a pray and slam for your desired mod. Without enough currency, you won’t be able to aim for crit dmg or attack speed. You also run the risk of hitting a high level modifier where you have to restart the suffixes.

I’d recommend using desecration for the suffix and whittle for the prefix. You need more currency for that however.
