Help for my Stormweaver CoC/Comet build

Finally hit level 90 on my Stormweaver build (this is my first time playing PoE2) had a bunch of help from my clan friends and really enjoying the game, so much to learn.

I keep seeing these Stormweaver builds where it's raining comets. I get a few as I'm mapping, and then get a bit of rapid fire comets when I meet bosses.

Any tips, or is it really just a matter of getting that really S-tier expensive gear and getting to lvl 100 to actually make that happen?

Just wondering if there's anything jumping out that's not right.
