Sorry this one is annoying to google somebody please tell me how using the orb that corrupts works? Is there any chance it’ll change my items stats? I have a strong bow I want to corrupt but I would be so hurt if it made the bow not as good. I can deal with it re rolling the T levels or the ranges but I just don’t want it to change any stat to a different one.
It can change the affixes or even remove some. Don't do it if you aren't going to be ok with losing it
If you really need that bow and depend on it, just dont vaal it. There IS a way to see exactly, what a vaal orb would be doing, but if you ask this question you probably don't have the currency to use it nor the bow worth using it on.
As others have already said, my advice "If you can't afford to lose it, then don't vaal it" Don't be concerned with what those in the chat will say, they aren't playing the game with you.
Try it when you have two similarly strong items (on one of them).
I’ll add on top of what other people have said, on top of changing the affixes and or removing them, it can also add a socket, give you another affix, increase the quality, or just do nothing
