To the people that are leeching temples, why?

Can’t speak for everyone else but I leech for 3 reasons:

1. Leveling in the late 90s sucks, leeching is solid xp

2. Gold. It’s nice not having to worry about the gold costs of transactions

3. I don’t have my own temple, so my first few times leeching it was just cool to see one in game 

i had to see the insanity for myself, this will never exist in the game ever again, so yeah it was worth a couple runs.

People love paying to not play the game. That’s why trade chat is always full of ascension carries.

Now they can get paid to not play

I don't think people do it for fun. I see it as a stepping stone. I've gotten paid anywhere from 10-50 div from a leech. Depending on the player, a full temple is like 20-40 minutes. That and picking up some valuable uniques and chaos/annul/greater ex on the floor gets you like ~30-60 div an hour. Plus XP and gold. That's not bad if you don't have your own temple set up yet/not strong enough to farm juiced maps

My immediate thought was the busy gamer dads, or any work from home person, who can make currency sitting afk in temple during the day while they are working.

I am just crafting and recouping my currency/gold. I bring a couple of items(2~3) and around 300 chaos. I drop around 400 more in the temple and get paid 5 div while doing it and I get 20~40m gold on top instead of needing to buy carries and I just need to move a little once in a while for it

I tried leeching and my fucking screen was unusable with all the drops. Half way through I made a new filter and still couldn't see

Payout is at least 10 div but more often upwards of 20 div currently, loot can another 5-20 div depending on if anyone else is bothering to loot. I’ve had runs where I’m the only one looting and I get 100 annuls, 40p exalts, 10p jewelers and a handful of runes that are worth grabbing

I'm level 99 and I use it primarily for exp and also loot as a bonus. I run with guys that pay 20div a run and it takes like 15-20 minutes I think? Also tons of bubble gum currency like greater chaos and tier 1 uniques they leave behind. I can only do it for a max of 3 in a row though before I get burned out and take a break. But exp at 98+ is insanely slow and temple is the best way to get it since it's level 82 always
