I don’t know about you all, but I love this new ascendancy!

I am having a ton of fun as an abyssal lich, too. stacking storm skelies is giving me an extra 150% damage, which is more than I was getting from archmage.

That’s dope, but I have no clue what this is. I’m new this league; have a lvl 87 shaman going, but all I use are spells. I really wish I had gone with a spellcaster class.

How do you think the witch class would work out with that? Some good possible ascendancies?

Im running a Doedre's Dark Design Abyssal Lich, and it is sooo fun! You snap your fingers and everything turns to dust!

They better add a warlock ascendancy for templar/shadow similar to this

I love the Abyssal Lich, but I want to play the campaign as one. I want to be able to go to the Well of Souls right after the Trial of Sekhemas and hop in and swap, without the fight. If they must, fine, I’ll beat the boss with some other character first, though I think it’s stupid. It’s just another ascendancy; there is no balance reason it needs to be gated.

so what's the deal with why you're so into it?

Is that a shit post? All the passives you are invested are same as normal lich 🤷‍♂️ and the first 4 points should be invested to get the “your life can’t change when you have energy shield” node…

Feel like one of the few people who hate it.

We fight Kulemak to take "Abyssal Power", but it has nothing to do with the Abyss at all aside from the Steward of Kulemak that shows up for 0.5 seconds to cast a copy of your spell then disappears. Not to mention Abyssal powers are focused on necromancy but the ascendancy is the complete opposite.

Abyssal Lich feels like a sorceress ascendancy instead of a witch ascendancy. It should be the strongest minion based ascendancy since we fight a lord of Necromancers to get it but it's for casting spells.

They could have put "His Grave Command" on the ascendancy instead of on a staff and let us take over Abyss creatures with modifiers.

I tried to like it, used it on 2 different characters but if I wanted to use a sorceress I would have picked her
