Best Temple Guide ?

Looking for an up to date Temple Guide and general tips. I understand the idea in general but in practice i have no idea how to actually build lt. Russian tech, golem tech or something roman road are terms which i read often but i cant still wrap my head around it.

Currently im trying to kill the architect as much as possible because i dont have the six medaillon slots yet.

Then the next step would be to place the architect in front of atziri in the fourth row.

But how are you supposed to start building your chain when you cant secure it since you have no locks ? I assume its just luck and rng until you can sustain locks with spymasters and smithys i believe ?

Also whats the best way to farm crystals ? T15 6 mods ?

But for the part where you have to sacrifice a room to create a thauma-corrupt-thauma room, I did Fubgun's method.

Ignore roman roads (imo). Google "russian tech" (cause it's hard to explain without example). Use spare rooms to take destabilization hits when you start your snake (the idea is to lower the chance to get hit for the room you're trying to save by providing more targets for destabilization).

To farm crystal charges:

Use Grand Project tablet on a tower.
Use T15 6-mod maps (some say it's good to have more waystone drop chance for 3 charges to proc, some say that it's good to have 8 mods, could be both).
Use setup for increased light radius in your second weapon set (guiding palm + threaded light and some passives from the tree) and switch to it from time to time to cover more map.
Find the beacon. Activate it. Tp out. Don't bother with anything else.
