Is there anyway to make 0 res hp+armour stacking build viable?

I played a version of 0 res life stacker this league. Works fine with the 0 duration tech.

The only "problem" that the build had was shade walker abyss mobs which basically turn off all regen so I would end up killing myself if i wasn't careful but I could do everything with this build and it was tankier than my friend who played the es leech based spark/coc template

There are plenty of options to get even more life but I was happy to invest in dps at the cost of life.

You basically have to have resistances. But you can probably get away with juicing your life pool to ~5k or so and rely on instant leech to sustain you. You will still die to boss slams though. I think kingkongor plays like that if you want an example.

I tried going the 0 res route but there simply isnt enough ways to scale hp in a reasonable manner so it always ended up worse than a full res build with the same investment.

The only other way to go about is to invest in ES but that would be going against the armour + life stacking defense

So i just went 3 spectrum sapphires like you mentioned. As a bonus i get to equip +4 vertex which is a massive boost in damage

You must take all nodes for reduced Skill Effect Duration. Without it, what's the point?
Also, Time of Need should be with Overabundance I + Hayoxi's Fulmination. It's a very strong boost.
For a No Res build with an Armor stack, we should take the maximum node for 'Armor also applies to Elemental Damage'. This will make your armor work for elemental damage.

Next, we use The Brass Dome with the maximum armor we can afford.
Defiance of Destiny also significantly boosts our survivability.

As for the tree, since we're using Hulking Form, we want to take the maximum useful passive and avoid useless +5 attributes.

So, after setting up all the survivability layers, we have no other damage source left, so the only viable option is poison with Splinter of Lorrata.

Overall, it's a solid boss skill build with decent clear from Dreamer.

At least two viable builds have been video showcased. Other one was Jungroan's 0 duration Ember Fusilade and the other one was some AFK build with over 10k life.

Not worth it IMO. For reference I'm also a Zero Duration Titan with 3 grand spectrum rubies, Vertex, full resistances, 4k life, 30% armour. I crafted most of my gear with % life, flat life and strength wherever they were available as affixes. I very rarely die and barely realized I've leveled from 93 to 96 doing random stuff.

With your belt and rings is going to be hard to cap res.

I stopped dieing at 8k es. I wouldn't bother with any build that doesn't have 8k hp as a comparison because armour doesn't seem to do anything.
