Project acceleration 3 and feathered fletching seem bugged on tooltip

40% more projectile speed should not convert to more damage since its not increases to projectile speed right? So this is a visual bug of the tooltip?
Also if you have feathered fletching notable along with the acceleration it seems to double the damage according to the tooltip.
First screenshot shows PA3 with no fletching, second screenshot is unequipped PA3 with no fletching and third screenshot is equipped PA3 with fletching notable specced.

Why wouldn’t increased projectile speed increase damage? I’m confused by your wording I guess.
