How can you reach ogham without awakening the hooded one ? Isnt his quest mandatory to advance to the end of act 1 ?

Kind of makes sense: with Geonor beaten (and the Beast Seed on its way to the desert, though I’m not sure that matters), the enchantment on the Tree of Souls weakens, and Sin is able to free himself and come right away. The signet ring is no longer relevant, so it’s removed (we can imagine giving it to Sin or Una or whatever if we want but it has no role in the game).

I still dont trust the hooded one.. his story seems suspicious

Is that sort of a glitch? How can he be there if we never woke him up?
